When I first started out I wanted to keep things as lean as possible and I bootlegged and hung apps, tools and services together like pieces of string until I found a better solution.
I always get asked what tools I use in my business so I thought I’d share some of the online business tools and services I use in my business that need to be shouted from the rooftops! Because I think they’re amaze-balls!
I start my week off by planning what I need to do by putting pen to paper. For me, the best way for me to get my thoughts out of my head is to use my Daily Greatness Planner and my project management tool Asana. But this planner helps me to check in and mark off what I’ve completed, what I need to get rid of and what actions I need to take immediately. But also provides you with a section for monthly and quarterly goal setting.I can’t live without a planner.

I’ve had a VA for about a year now and it’s been the best and the worst decision I’ve made in my business.
The worst thing being, that I didn’t hire a VA sooner. I got a VA during one of the busiest times in my business. I knew I needed help. I was drowning in my workload and finding that additional time to tell my VA what I wanted was a challenge.
The best thing about having a VA for the past year has meant that I’ve had to put a lot of systems in place in my business which I didn’t have before. Systems like creating social media images, creating blog posts, accepting people into my Facebook Group. Whatever you can think of I have a process and a pretty detailed checklist for it.
This blog for example, was put together by my assistant. I wrote the post in a Google Doc, chose the image for the post and everything else was done by following a detailed checklist and process my assistant follows each time we publish a blog post. Works like a charm!
The dream team that I hired my VA through is the The Virtual Hub. They’re a VA recruitment services. So, they hired and trained my VA and did all the leg work so I didn’t have to. I interviewed 3 candidates and chose the one I like the best #winning.

Ok so this isn’t a tool or a service, but a training program.
Before I had a VA, I did a lot of Done For You 1:1 work for my clients which meant I was always in the trenches with my clients helping them create their online courses.
But I realised I have no formal onboarding process to work with my clients. I had to send them contracts but I would send them too late. There would be an endless stream of back and forth emails which meant the project dragged or the scope of the project got bigger.
I knew I needed to do something, but I wasn’t sure what it was until Leah’s Facebook Ad popped up in my newsfeed and I was like. A’ha – that’s what’s missing…… I didn’t have a clear process to work with my clients!!
This training program and the community helped me to get all set up and get my butt in gear. I realised I had the large majority of things in place but I was just missing some essential links to make my client experience and onboarding process seamless.

- LeadPages – I hated that the pages weren’t customisable plus I thought it was too expensive. In addition to that when I was setting up a sales funnel or webinar for a launch the related pages were never all on one place which was SOOO annoying.
Now that I’m with Clickfunnels, all I have to do is choose the type of funnel I want to set up I.e opt in or automated webinar and all the relevant pages I’ll need are already set up BOOM!
